Who is Matej Mazák (TRAKT)?

Matej, a.k.a. matje!, is an illustrator and animator who graduated from the High School of Art in Trenčín and an animated film at the University of Ostrava. In addition to many animated or art projects, he also worked on the famous Lokal Filmis. It is the very animation that best describes his inspiration to beautify Absolute bottles. The goal was to let the audience not only to watch, but explore and discover the bottle.

Look at the character pressed in a bottle, a tweeting bird, a wolf howling to the imaginary moon, or Doodle Art (including Marcel Kmitko, a fictional figure living for 7 years his own life).

Finally a nice idea from the process of his work: You should honor your craft just by transferring it directly to the object – the bottle. That way you can “animate”  the bottle too. “
