The garage will appear again in Trencin, this time in the KKC Hviezda area. Within the 4th year, which organizing Trencin 2026 in cooperation with the Pohoda festival, it will bring 3 Saturdays of concerts of the upcoming generation of bands from all over Slovakia. The performing bands were selected by an expert jury from 214 entries.

The creative photography and film competition with an educational stay in Slovakia in 2024 is an educational activity supporting the creative potential of children of Slovaks living abroad. The creative industry accounts for significant percentages in economic development at the national, European and global levels. It is about acquiring new practical skills in photography, animation, short film and related creative segments. The activity is primarily aimed at children from primary and secondary schools, vocational schools and grammar schools. Static and moving image has gradually made its way from conventional digital cameras and camcorders to mobile phones, giving it a new language and form as well as universal accessibility. These new mobile forms offer a more easily accessible space for the development of digital creativity, invention and imagination.

The continuation of Tales from Trenčín will bring visitors the story of Klara the Beauty Rider. On Friday 28 June and Saturday 29 June 2024, starting at 21:15, the story will take the audience back to 1813, when the town on the banks of the Váh River was hit by a great flood. Around 30 performers will tell the story of Clara the beauty queen and Michael the tailor through acrobatic art, music and visual effects. The performance will be situated along the Váh River (beginning at the athletics track). We will be able to watch it from the dam, moving along with the action in the direction of the old road bridge. The author of the literary model and the director of the event is Vlado Kulíšek. The animated projections within the event were created by TRAKT in cooperation with the young animator Emá Balážová.
“We are curious, everything fascinates us, if we don’t know something we quickly come up with something, but we still haven’t been able to figure out one thing, but maybe we can find a solution with you.” The current movement production brings improvised stories that invite you into an imaginary world. The theme of the production supports fantasy, imagination and opens up the world of visual imagination.

The continuation of Tales from Trenčín brought visitors the story of the last Trenčín executioner Matej. An extraordinary open-air show, full of spectacular light displays and unique acrobatic performances. The story took place in the centre of Trenčín, right on the Peace Square. The spectators could see the show on 30 June 2023 or 1 July 2023 from 9.30 pm, starting at the Elizabeth Hotel. Oskar Tadlánek from the Normani fencing group played the main role of the executioner Matej. The author of the story and director of the night show is Vlado Kulíšek. Projections and video mapping were created by TRAKT.
Experience the atmosphere of a medieval castle and enjoy a night tour! On Wednesday, July 20, 2022 and August 10, 2022 you can enjoy the performance of the theatre and play group RAZCA called Hey Partisan, Take Me With You! The story will take place in the castle premises against the background of the Slovak National Uprising, which did not bypass the Strečno Castle. The events at the castle and its history will be presented through video mapping by the TRAKT civic association. The programme will also include a breathtaking fire show performed by Black Evils, medieval cuisine will flourish thanks to the association Guild Terra de Selinan and the castle cannon will be brought to life by OZ Turiec.

On Saturday 25.6.2022, the bustle of the city market will be carried along the 1st May Street in Trencin. The one-day market of local vendors and regional artists will bring an exceptional atmosphere to the heart of Trenčín.
In addition to the stalls in which the vendors will offer their products, in front of the Gymnasium Ľ. Štúr, there will be theatres, playrooms for children, discussions for adults, various concerts, workshops and interactive art installations. One of them is the interactive work HAPPY AUDIO from the workshop of TRAKT.
The aim of the project is to enliven a public space other than the traditional Peace Square and to promote cultural and social events in the city.
The seventh continuation of the Tales from Trenčín takes visitors back to the 2nd century, when the Romans appeared on the territory of the future Trenčín. The main character will be Severus, a soldier from Laugaricio.
Come and see an extraordinary open-air show, full of spectacular light displays and breathtaking acrobatic feats. The story this year will take place in the city centre, in the spaces around the Army House. You can see the performance on 1 and 2 July at 9.30 pm. The start will be at the service – side entrance of the Army House.
The main role of Severo will be played by Dušan Tadlánek from the Normani fencing group, the role of Mark Valerius will be played by Štefan Richtárech, an actor from the Municipal Theatre of Trenčín. The acrobatic show will be performed by acrobats from Vertigo and professional slackliner Lukáš Černý. MusicaMusicantica from Mojmírovce near Nitra will take care of the period music, interesting lighting and projection visuals have been prepared by Trenčín Trakt, the Roman soldiers will be taken care of by the historical fencing group Wagus. The story of Severus was compiled and directed by Trenčín’s Vlado Kulíšek, again, as in the previous six stories. Snowflakes adorn the pavements like tiny diamonds, but the joy is fleeting. To make this magic last longer, the TRAKT association in cooperation with the city of Trenčín has prepared an interactive installation, especially for the little ones. The main roles will be played by various snowflakes, which will materialize on the ground thanks to the projection and invite children to dance or chase. The snowflakes will be waiting for you on the stage in Peace Square in Trencin in December 2021 and January 2022 on designated “dance days” – every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 16:00 to 20:00.
Christmas time is a magical time where anything is possible – we can even see the sounds shine through. Such an experience has been prepared for the inhabitants of Trenčín by the TRAKT association in cooperation with the city of Trenčín. A symphony of sounds will come alive in colourful lights, and everyone can be a conductor and a player, from the smallest ones. Thanks to the interactive installation, the space of the Atrium under the City Tower will be illuminated and sounded by your joint movement. You can come to play in the Atrium under the City Tower in Trencin from 22 December 2021 to 19 January 2022, always in an evening magical atmosphere between 15:00 and 20:00.
