Slovaks are a Slavic nation, which is the majority in Slovakia and a minority in the USA, the Czech Republic, Serbia (Vojvodina), Hungary and some other countries (about 6 940 000 people). Among the most important units of which the Slovaks were included are the Samaritan Empire, the Great Moravian Empire, the Kingdom of Hungary, Austria-Hungary, Czechoslovakia (1st Czechoslovakia, Czechoslovakia, Czechoslovakia), the Slovak State (1939-1945) 1993 Independent Slovak Republic.
