Beast Porto 2022

TRAKT will participate in the 5th edition of the Beast Film Festival in Porto (Portugal) with a video art exhibition under the curatorial direction of Štefan Oliš. The section is composed of a selection of videos from the Videoart match project to which it is loosely related. Štefan Oliš, a contemporary artist and educator from Slovakia, will present videos by students from different V4 countries. He will introduce the audience in Porto to the variety and diversity of video art – the play with video, sound and animation. Defining beauty in motion, movement in time, capturing the world around them as they perceive it. Video art is the impetus for everything and the artist is its image.
