Created in 2001 Gentian Country, in northern Cantal, the association Euroculture Country Gentian has been built thanks to the perseverance of a group of young volunteers from the Cantal area carrying a dynamic and open process cultural of North Cantal Auvergne and rural areas, promoting cultural exchange, meetings and access to diverse cultural practices and the exciting young and old thanks to mounting cultural projects at local and European level .
In 2005, the association has become a professional company alive to show the development of more ambitious projects of creation and art education still based on the exchange of cultural openness, informal education, volunteering in an intervention area that has continued to expand.
Since 2009, the association strengthened its local and regional roots and now deploys a strategy of socio-economic development and sustainable cultural, throughout the year based on solid skills, energies and ideas that are constantly renewed thanks to the involvement of a permanent and volunteer team, and a dense, woven over the years at local, regional level across the EU and beyond. The association has the resources needed to develop innovative and international projects focused on the North Cantal.
