Culture plays an important role in the economic, social and environmental development of the country. It plays a very important and diverse role, which bears great potential to increase further the advent of new media. Increasingly, projects are being implemented in the field of new media for the exchange of experiences and open debate at the international level. One possibility is to support these projects and Culture. Program in recent years supported a number of projects related to new media in which they were involved and also Slovak partners (Multiplace festival, Remake, Atrakt Art, Gallery SPACE, Col – me / Collaborative media expedition). Therefore the conference – New media art & digital art meeting point for presentation of the activities carried out in the field of new media over the past decade. Its aim is to link the diverse academic and non-academic activities of departments to make way for meeting celebrities and representatives of educational institutions, but also cultural sociological environment operating in the realm of digital media. The conference intends to allow authors present projects, activities, vision, critical comments, and overall concerns within this segment of culture and art. The goal of the meeting is to open a discussion about the possibilities and the prospective use of the potential of this active region, inspired by the experience of foreign countries and also seek the answer to the question: “What’s next? – There is a common point on which to speak? “
