Kosice (other names see chapter Title) are the metropolis of eastern Slovakia and with more than 240 000 inhabitants [5] the second largest city in the state. The city is part of Košice agglomeration with 355,000 inhabitants and Košice-Prešov agglomeration, with 555,800 inhabitants among the largest urbanized areas in the republic.
