TRAKT (SK) and Mamapapa (CZ) took part in the December residence "Nomads Land" in Prague. The area of DIVUS SPACE was for artists the base and working studio, from where they had realized field studies of the locations. Task of the artists Tomas Žižka, Michaela Bottková and Lukas Matejka was to create beam art projections in Prague public space. Designed visuals artists represent as a direct reactions to memory of events in January 1969, around the personality of Jan Palach.
During the last October week visual team from Hopes and Memories project took a place in Košice, in east part of Slovakia. Artist from TRAKT and Mamapapa met there for three days and they focused on artistic creation of unique beamvertising projection, which was developed and screened in the night streets of Kosice last day of residency. Artists were during 48 hours discovering surrounding, suburbs, and historical city center to catch as much impacts as was possible.
Lukas Matejka (TRAKT), Tomas Zizka (Mamapapa) and Agnieszka Ćwieląg attended residency in Wroclaw. Artists were participating and Avant Art Festival, and by night walked to the foot all locations and discovered as much local characteristics as was possible. They later prepared beamvertising projection with the motive of Jan Meyerowitz. Due to the composer was born in Breslau and nobody there known about them, visual team made him alive and screened him as a ghost - walking along the facades of the buildings, especially in the fourth Olbin.
TRAKT participated at the International Theatre Festival Nitra 2013 with the project Beamvertising forthright in the streets of Nitra. Projections especially prepared for this festival, have attracted residents of Nitra mainly in the pedestrian area, as well as in a Klokočina neighbourhood.
Projections from a moving vehicle was possible to see as a part of the additional program of the festival 27th September 2013 (Friday evening) and also 28th September 2013 during the White Night.
We decided to organize project Digital City because of the need to bring the trends of contemporary fine art among young people in Trencin. This idea is also identic with the main goal of Ofca platform. Ofca should cover similar activities. The intention of Ofca is to zoom high art to laic audience and to show him, that the art is also fun and it is possible to percept it in an easy way.
TRAKT premiered the project Slovak beamvertising in the streets of Trencin, Dubnica nad Vahom and vicinity on August 25th 2013. During the night were projected unconventional visuals in the streets of Trencicn by the TRAKT. Preparations of the project included several conceptual meetings since the summer 2013. Here were given the plans of routes and visual components. The idea of project was covered by Lukas Matejka and about implementation of project took care Denis Matus, Stefan Olis, Adam Siekel and Pavol Soukal.
