It processes the phenomenon of the virtually perceived world – the real one, by using interactive storytelling, comprehending the ideology of the place through the language of contemporary art, semiotics and social paradigms. The project uncovers motives of a perceiving individual subject – as a mythical entity in a collective situation, and dramatically re/constructs possible and expectable situations on which it uncovers local social-historical relations of the place as well as current and speculative conditions of the existence of the non/place, modern rituals and infra/structures, in which the subject finds itself at the given moment.

Simply said, it is a paraphrase of a computer game, an open world story, where the spectator becomes the player in the real world, the structure and universal significance of which he/she process through a filter of current artistic and cultural considerations offering it to new experiences, movement, discovery of new senses, reflections and connectivity of networks around us. The project is focused on an expert or an amateur spectator, children, students or teachers. The aim is to create and introduce an interdisciplinary play, as a universally transferable and complete installation lasting several hours that highlights the interaction between the spectator and the environment (passive as well as active).

A special animated videospot for Roma speaking population was created by Lukáš Matejka/TRAKT (animation), Marián Balog (voice), Dávid Tišer (text).

“I am Roma and I am duly proud. I was born in Slovakia, I grew up here, I had my first kiss here, got married, I work here and I am going to die here. The students at the School of Applied Arts in Trenčín studied the ins and outs of short feature films. During 2 online meetings, they had a chance to get familiarized with literature and director preparation for a feature film. This part of the workshop was arranged by Martin Velič, a television screenwriter and a director who has worked on various film projects, in cooperation with Peter Bebjak, for example.

As decided by the organizers of the workshop, the whole lecture was shot and prepared in advance at the Fleck coworking premises in Trenčín. The lectures may be used as a study material for future students.

The theoretical part was followed by the practical part where the students created mood boards. With the help of this kind of visual presentation, they communicated their own author intent towards the production of their own audiovisual piece of work – Self-portrait.

After presenting their mood boards, they began shooting the scenes in their own environment so they could depict their personalities in the best way possible. “It was important that the participants analyzed their own personalities because it was them who were the main characters of their own artwork.” says Patrik Kubizna, the organizer of the workshop.

The shot scenes were consulted with the students from The Audiovisual Arts Studio of Tomas Bata University in Zlín after the first week of shooting. The university students consulted the high schoolers on the upcoming audiovisual artworks in 3 meetings during 2 weeks.

The final discussion took place on Tuesday, 15^th of December, and Juraj Ondruš, Senior Video Editor in Bumerang film productions who was a part of it, gave feedback on the created artworks whose theme was a self-portrait. “The self-portraits were diverse, and their different forms of presentation caught my attention. Some of them would even succeed at admittance tests to universities specializing in film” says Juraj Ondruš praising the work of workshop participants.

The citizens association TRAKT has decided to present the participants´ artworks in their online gallery. “We are very happy that the students succeeded in creating interesting author artworks under difficult conditions caused by the coronavirus.”

To be included in the network, the work of art must meet the condition of employing a text. The text serves as a password unlocking the next artwork/ author. To move to another artwork, spectators need to type out the text included in the artwork into the chosen window on the web. The author may employ the text in any manner without a restraint on the medium, however it must be readable for the visitor of this network. The text may become the main theme of the artwork but that does not mean it must be its only and main element. The author creates the text him/herself. The selection criteria:

• quality of the artwork
• the way the text is set in the context of the online space
• complying with the technical conditions to fulfill the function of the project

The artworks of any genre and form (visual, audiovisual, audio, literary, painting, performance, choreography, recording, …) reacting to the particularities of the internet space or the current social issues or self-representation are welcome. The artworks created solely for the exhibition project as well as works of art of older date are welcome. The concept of the exhibition project is not otherwise limited by a theme.

The memory with the cultural program directed by David Tišer took place on August 2, 2020 from 12:00 in the premises of the SNP Museum in Banská Bystrica. During a week during her visit to the Banská Bystrica region, President Zuzana Čaputová came to honor the memory of the victims of the Roma Holocaust. On Sunday, the citizens commemorated the Roma Holocaust Memorial Day with the participation of Prime Minister Igor Matovič, Minister of the Interior Roman Mikulec, Government Plenipotentiary for the Roma Community Andrey Bučková, Deputy Prime Minister Jakub Gajdošík and other guests.

The program also included a digital projection with the names of the victims of the Roma Holocaust in the entrance hall on the SNP sign. The new projection from the TRAKT workshop was prepared and realized by digital artist Lukáš Matejka.
