In terms of the size of the cadastral territory and the number of inhabitants, the village of Mólča belongs rather to small settlements. It is located in a very beautiful and picturesque natural landscape, in the immediate hinterland of the regional city of Banská Bystrica. Mólča is located in a natural amphitheater whose axis is the Mólčanský stream, about 5 km southeast of Banská Bystrica.
