“Our great effort is to get a young audience, to get acquainted with contemporary art and thinking. To attract more interest in events in the Slovak and foreign art scene, “says Young Art Show organizer Martin Ševčovič.

The ceremonial finishing of the exhibition took place on Friday, October 27, 2017 at 19:00 in the Great Hall of the House of Art Piešťany. Fashion designers Petra Kovacs, Tatiana Ďurkovová, Adela Babinská, Valéria Kršiaková, and Ondrej Forus presented fashion collections during the fashion show. The program was enriched with the performance of keyboardist John Rau and rapper Vladis. During the finish, visitors could taste specialties from the students’ workshop at the Hotel Academy of Ľudovít Winter. Projections and video were provided by TRAKT composed by Matúš Krajčo, Alexej Zavodnov and Lukáš Matejka.

The works of art from young artists were exhibited from the 5th October 2016. Evening was introduced by Diana Hágerová. Designers Kristína Bánovská, Monika Pšenicová, Petra Kovácsová, Tatiana Ďurkovová, Tatiana Dvořáková a Viera Futáková were showing their trendy clothing. One of them was inspired by 20th century, another by pink color and every of them created unique collection. Each of designers tried to elevate feminity by the medium of their creations. Organizer of the event Martin Ševčovič flattered fashion models and all women in the audience and also in backstage when he said: „All ladies should be praised because praise belongs to them.“

Pianist Jan Rau, rap singer Vladis and three teenagers – acrobats who are named For Fun Crew – took care about cultural programme. After the program and exhibiton, gala banquet was ready for the audience. 64 young artists from Slovakia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Russia, Romania, Serbia, Spain, Great Britain and USA were the part of the international project Young Art Show in 2016. The event provides a space for communication and presentation of young artists. The project is primarily oriented at students and graduates from local and foreign art universities. It offers the audience an insight into the current Slovak and foreign fine arts. Artworks in the House of Art were available to see   till the 30 October 2016.

The first objective YOUNG ART SHOW is to help young authors to present their work. Create awareness of his person and work. The exhibition is a way for young artists to reach their audience, to communicate with him. This is an opportunity to go on the stage and played his performance. The second objective YOUNG ART SHOW is The educational activities. Attract interest audiences in visual arts, formed by the residents and visitors of Piestany. PKN had planned launch on Feb. 25, 2015 (symbolically at 20:20), thus becoming the last action before reconstruction of the building. The event was presented together 10 presenters, various fields, focus, and ways of expression. Zlin regions PKN presented HRA U13 – Pavel Novák and Michal Ščuglík (CZ), puojd – Michaela Bednárová (SK), Andrii Konontsev (Crimea), Tereza Damcová (CZ), Zlin potty (CZ), Radek Petříček (CZ), Jana Janíková (CZ), Roman Šedina (CZ), Dalibor Stříbný (CZ). Among them was also represented TRAKT, which presented the two founders of the association Lukas Matejka (SK) and Štefan Oliš (SK). Each of the participants used their time of presentation 6.40 min. own style. Presentation time has been strictly defined, as the project is PKN international format 20×20, which means 20 slides x 20 seconds. Representatives of the TRAKT sought in this ultra short time together to present activities and projects TRAKT. In condensed speech before some 300 spectators mentioned briefly the most important projects of more than 5 years history.

Once again demonstrated the importance of networking and cooperation, which in future may form an important network, which helps in the formation of mycelium for Culture and Arts. Poodchýlili thus in a short time back door to Zlín – city of design where every step feel the presence of Bata University and progressive spirit.

Culture plays an important role in the economic, social and environmental development of the country. It plays a very important and diverse role, which bears great potential to increase further the advent of new media. Increasingly, projects are being implemented in the field of new media for the exchange of experiences and open debate at the international level. One possibility is to support these projects and Culture. Program in recent years supported a number of projects related to new media in which they were involved and also Slovak partners (Multiplace festival, Remake, Atrakt Art, Gallery SPACE, Col – me / Collaborative media expedition). Therefore the conference – New media art & digital art meeting point for presentation of the activities carried out in the field of new media over the past decade. Its aim is to link the diverse academic and non-academic activities of departments to make way for meeting celebrities and representatives of educational institutions, but also cultural sociological environment operating in the realm of digital media. The conference intends to allow authors present projects, activities, vision, critical comments, and overall concerns within this segment of culture and art. The goal of the meeting is to open a discussion about the possibilities and the prospective use of the potential of this active region, inspired by the experience of foreign countries and also seek the answer to the question: “What’s next? – There is a common point on which to speak? “
