    Comenius Square comes alive

    Comenius Square is a tiny joint behind the historic building of the Slovak National Theater, which OZ TRAKT in cooperation with the city of Bratislava modified and designed elements for revitalization of this public space. So that it belongs to the inhabitants of the city and brings culture and relaxation to the city center. Hand in hand with the Green Patrol we cleaned this space first and then created a concept that will revive this former parking lot.

    You can look forward to a cultural program from local artists, as well as a table tennis tournament, dance workshops and children’s theaters. Refreshments will be provided by two local food trucks offering fresh street food.

  • Tfilos Un Nigunim

    Tfilos Un Nigunim

    A unique evening in the sign of Jewish culture, which is important, but often omitted in our cultural part of our cultural heritage.

    Tfilos Un Nigunim is a project consisting of the realization of songs by the authorial duo Michal Paľko (music) and Shlomo ben Rivke (poems), which were released in 2018 in the form of a CD by Pavian Records.

    The aim of the project is to make the Slovak legacy of Judaism accessible to the widest possible audience in the Slovak language in a modern musical performance between classical music, classical Jewish religious songs and popular music. In addition to translating texts of classical religious songs from Hebrew into Slovak, the Tfilos un Nigunim CD contains for the most part the original poetic work of the Jewish author – Shloma ben Rivke, moving on the interface of classical Judaism (Jewish orthodoxy) and Kabbalah (Jewish mysticism).

    Revived walls

    Interactive light installations linking past and present. This is the project of the revitalized TRACT workshop. Nightly uncovering photographs from the archive from the 70-year history of the Jozef Gregor Tajovský Theater in Zvolen and the history of the City of Zvolen. After three nights, the interactive light spray in the hands of visitors will revive the past on the facades of three buildings in the center of Zvolen. The darkness of the JGT Theater (June 9, 2019), the Old Town Hall (June 11, 2019) and the Zvolen Castle (June 21, 2019) will come alive.

    About Agata

    The sixth sequel to The Stories of Trenčín tells the story of Agata, a young tavern, from whom she became a queen maid and who found her life love in the castle. Extraordinary open-air artistic show full of breathtaking acrobatic performances and spectacular light displays. The story took place in South Park at seven locations, where more than three dozen performers played ten scenes. Especially for this occasion, a high tower was built – one of the greatest attractions of this year. The audience could see the show on June 28th and 29th at 21.15. The start was at the bottom of South Park.

    The main role of Agata’s chamberlain was presented by a member of the acrobatic-dance group Vertigo, otherwise successful lawyer Klaudia Danisova. In addition to Vertigo, the period group Hector with their horses, Trencian acrobats and Freerunner Born to Trick, the historical fencing group Wagus, Musica poetica, and interesting animated video projection were prepared by TRAKT. Another novelty of this year was the laser show at the end of the event. The story of Agata was compiled and signed under the direction of the night show again, as well as in the previous five stories, Trencin Vlado Kulíšek.

    Happy audio and fables from India

    Under the auspices of the Indian Embassy in Slovakia, an evaluation of the Indian Fables Competition was held in Liptovsky Mikulas through the eyes of Slovak children. Through beautiful children’s drawings, viewers introduced the stories of stories from the life of the great Indian thinker M. Gandhi, whose 150th anniversary of birth is commemorated this year. Children put their insights into stories and their inner feelings into portraits in portraits. Up to 48 winners participated in the evaluation.

    TRAKT participated in a great atmosphere with the interactive audio installation of Happy Audio. Through technology and a mixture of fruits and vegetables, children composed unconventional sound and music compositions. The main organizer of the Slovak – Indian Friendship Society has prepared an unusual accompanying program for children. We are looking forward to further joint projects and congratulations to the winners.

    Stiavnica not only silver

    Stiavnica not only silver or burgess, poet and nazis is a multi-genre street walk-through production about the search for the current treasure of Banska Stiavnica. The historical and contemporary form of the journey of artists and spectators from the Town Hall Square via Nám. Sv. The Trinity to the Old Castle with live music, singing and dancing for the undiscovered treasure of a mining town, not only hidden in silver, but hired by people and their personal stories. Several stops in the unique exteriors and interiors of the center will revive the fragment from the history of Štiavnica directly in front of the facades of the original events.

    Light melody

    Audiovisual show Light melody combines digital artwork with electronic music – remixed by Dj DayD. The project introduces new multimedia technologies – digital graffiti developed by artists from the civic association TRAKT and software program vvvv, which has been specially designed to draw light on the computer.

    This method will create a thematic story inspired by a selection of songs with different genres. The aim of the performance is to bring the general public to the development of new digital artistic tools used in the direction of visual music.

    The project will take place at EMÓCIA Gallery & Caffe Club in Žilina and is a part of his diploma thesis in Drawing and Audiovisual Arts for the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Granada, Spain.

    What is Pecha Kucha Night 20 × 20?

    The theme of this first PK is “What is Art, Culture, Design, and Architecture in Trencin”. Our idea is to show people in Trenčín other clever people who has been contributing to the cultural development of the city.

    Our goal to present activities associated with the cultural development of the city. Viewers will learn about ideas, creative thoughts, dreams. They will also learn a lot of information about running projects, motivation and demotivation, obstacles or perhaps even about some unexpected help.

Dreamy and Divinous. With the program until the deep night. TRAKT in collaboration with Fire brigade Dolná Krupá with magical fairy-tale holography on the water wall was there.     In the historical park in Dolná Krupá only 10min. from Trnava. Lator after midnight with an engaging program. The audience came to music, workshop, folklore, theater, history and food. The program was an appealing preor age product.

    The Faculty of Socio-Economic Relations of the Alexander Dubcek University in Trencin, in cooperation with Tomas Bata University in Zlín, will host the opening ceremony of the exhibition of non-profit organizations on 10:00 April at 10:00 am in the TnUAD Student Center. There will also be a TRAKT civil association.

    They can present their activities to the general public at the exhibition of non-profit organizations of the whole Trenčín Self-governing Region and thus highlight and highlight the importance of the non-profit sector. The project is associated not only with the exhibition itself, but mainly with a number of workshops and accompanying events for both the general public and the professional public.
