Cinematik is an international film festival that takes place in Piešťany and is one of the biggest film events in Slovakia. It was established in 2006 and after more than 16,000 visits during the fourth year. Each September brings more than 70 full-length and many short films with an emphasis on European and Slovak cinematography.
