]]> Lukáš Matejka (TRAKT) participated his own projections on the international project Equinox. Equinox is the result of a two-year cycle of creative stays in France, Mexico, Hungary and Slovakia. It is a multidisciplinary international performance experimenting with the boundaries of ourselves, with little-crossed forms such as classical and contemporary dance, opera, contemporary classical music, theater, video art and animation.

Kafka’s “America” and “Lock” novels served as the subject of the project, as were the stories of illegal immigrants leaving today from Mexico to the United States. The atmosphere is based on Karol Beff’s original musical work, which won the title of Best French Composer in 2013. Directed by the French director and artistic director of Euroculture Laurent Festas. The introduction of the Equinox was premiered in the summer under the Marseille – Provence 2013 program.

]]> One of the activities related to the international project Hopes and Memories, where is TRAKT collaborator, was Festival of forbidden operas “Musiques Interdites” as one of the main projects of Marseille European Capital of Culture 2013. TRAKT as a partner apart from invitations (to hear the original opera The Barrier, performed by unique 72-members KwaZulu-Natal Philharmonic Orchestra), was also element of this performance through photographic participation.
 
This large-scale projection was projected on facade of historic building Marseilles Prefecture, over the heads of participants during all concert performance and indicated each passage of opera libretti.
 
Pictures were created during residence in South Africa where was TRAKT represented by Michaela Bottková in April this year. They will furthermore continue travel through the whole process of artistic creations as an inspirational material and also as a part of final multidisciplinary work.
