The 2nd year of the Children's Festival with the main theme "OPEN STUDIO" was held on Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at the premises of KC Hviezda Trenčín on Tuesday morning. The Children's Festival was held under the auspices of the vice-presidents of the town of Trenčín Ján Forgác and Patrik Žák. The focus of the festival was the film section for elementary schools focused on creative formal processing of short films that entertained, but also taught a young child's viewer.
After less than a year, invited children - the winners of the Creative Competition for Digital Photography and Short Film - were invited to Banska Bystrica for children of Slovaks living abroad. On 12 - 15 June 2017, an expert commission composed of Mgr. art. Lukáš Matejka, ArtD. (TRAKT) and BcA. Matej Mazák (TRAKT) in cooperation with the main organizer of Matej Bel's Methodological Center for Children, besides interesting prices, also a photo workshop in the plenary of the picturesque UNESCO village Vlkolínec and workshop of luminography in Banská Bystrica.
2nd to 4th June 2016, the first edition of the multi-genre Children's Festival was held in Trenčín, whose central theme for this year became the film world. The supporting theme of the festival is to pay homage to Eduard Schreiber, who made the first Slovak film in the nearby town of Lednice Rovne 120 years ago. Viewers could enjoy cinematographic works through several film screenings at the Army House (ODA) and Artkine Metro. They have enjoyed internationally popular films such as Little Prince, as well as Slovak animated and short films designed for the child's viewer.
Animation is a way of creating seemingly moving things. Animation = revival. Who is the animation workshop designed for? Children aged 6-14 years in particular (older but interested parties or parents may also participate). What do you learn about the workshop? At the workshop, we are devoted exclusively to the manual technique of animation. You will use your creativity to create a short animated movie. The animation principle is a record of the sequential sequencing of the images.
„The animation is reviving lifeless – teachers were learning us this formula all school long. It means the animator gives life to drawings, material or objects. I took it literally,“ Matej Mazák said.
Revived is the stuff, which we see everyday but we hardly notice it – this is the reason, they need our attention and they want to be seen at least the one night a year. Mail box which is nowadays hardly used, old ticket machine which is used for sticking posters or Bratislava´s „periscops“ which are too nice to be forgot on the car park...
Europe Day was celebrated at the Main Square in Bratislava on 9 May 2016. An unforgettable atmosphere was created by music bands Fragile and Fallgrapp , among others. The event was organised by the European Commission Representation and the European Parliament Information Office in Slovakia. The highlight of the evening was the digital graffiti by TRAKT. The 'digital writer' was 'spraying' the names of all member countries of the European Union on the facade of the Jesuit church in Trnava.
Festival of light and shadow with the tagline Light and shadow in the art and science not only brightened the historic center of Banská Bystrica city, but also its surroundings. Civic associations Cultural Slovakia and TRAKT in collaboration with partners, prepared the deadline on 11 and 12 December 2015 always after dark light show. Spectators could himself for two nights on a 12 selected locations and see them on 19 unique projects. Section SHADOW roofed and astronomers young visual artists in the section LIGHT create multimedia works.
Two animated characters Kamil and Klara detonated a few minutes before midnight at the turn of 2013 and 2014 an unconventional visual and acoustic "projection mapping fireworks." Millenium mapping project shows the current new media art in public space. Videomapping to cooperate musician and a number of creative artists, all under the supervision of copyright Lukáš Matejka (TRAKT).
