Interactive art for the public space, titled Nova Dubnica graffiti, took place on June 2, 2018 at the Mierove namestie - Square in Nova Dubnica (Slovakia). Artists from the civic association TRAKT composed of Mgr. art. Lukáš Matejka, ArtD. and Pavol Soukal has prepared the concept of light projection for a unique architecture by Jiri Kroha. Spectators have the opportunity to try to create - creating visual ornaments on their own skin (using an interactive escort). Recycling of old patterns has enabled real-time viewers to fold into a new, contemporary form.
Gelnica Illumination is a multi-genre festival combining digital art, lighting installations, photography, literature and music, which took place for the first time on September 9, 2017 in Gelnica. Overall, the festival offered 10 projects from young Slovak artists, including members of TRAKT Pavol Soukal and Filip Kmeť. The Black Holes exhibition brought visitors to the underground of Miner Museum. People were given helmets and mining lights and could see photos of the forgotten cultural and industrial monuments of Spiš and Gemer.
On the occasion of the anniversary of 720 years of the town of Valašská Mezirici (CZ), on September 15, 2017, the first Festival of Lights with Virtual Reality in the region of Moravia and Silesia took place with the participation of TRAKT in the composition of Lukáš Matejka and Pavol Soukal. Valašské Meziříčí is a city-style celebration in the form of videomapping (a light projection) and a laser show alongside the world's metropolises such as Prague, Berlin, Paris or New York.
Hidden Paintings is an interactive light installation on the façade of the Nedbalka Gallery in Bratislava. The premiere was on October 7, 2017 during the Nuit Blanche 2017 in Bratislava. It is to expose the exhibited paintings of the 2017 (VUB Foundation) by an interactive light spray. Viewers - The wide public got a unique opportunity to uncover the paintings right on the facade of the NEDBALKA Gallery.
The basic idea of WIRE 2017 is to stimulate socially responsible research and digitization innovations for regional development and to understand its societal impact by exploiting synergies between different EU policies to promote economic, social and territorial cohesion. In other words, understand and stimulate the positive social and economic impact of digital research and innovation on the EU's regions and its people and build a creative, social and trusted region.
On May 20, 2017, the Night of the Museum and the Gallery were held throughout Slovakia. An exception was not Nitra. In the premises of the Nitra Gallery - Župný dom (Town House), audiences could enjoy several exhibitions until midnight. After digging from 21.00 to 23.00, Digital Graffiti from the TRAKT took place directly in the courtyard of the gallery. Even during the unfavorable weather the spectators sprayed - painted - drew - wrote down the facade of the building.
The International Film Festival in Trenčianske Teplice offered several thematic sections and one competition tour of short and medium-sized works of film school students. His program reflects both film history and the present. Formally, it brings not only more open-minded, but also more visually appealing images, trying to shift the traditional film language. The mission of the festival in Trenčianske Teplice is to contribute to the development of the knowledge of the world, but especially of the European film culture.
The 3rd annual celebration of the International Roma Day in Prague was carried out in the spirit of the motto MEAT TOTAL. The rich program lasted for more days. It started on Wednesday, April 5, 2017, and the MDR peak was scheduled for the gala evening on April 8, 2017 at the LaFabrik Theater with a rich and original music program. Throughout the evening, VJ projections were conducted by Lukáš Matejka (TRAKT).
Energetic Folklore graffiti by TRAKT took place on 24th and 31st March 2017 in front of STEJDŽ (alternative club in Trenčín). The exterior of STEJDŽ provided the ideal backdrop for the realization of folk visual imagery that the viewers created throughout the evening with the use of an interactive spray on the historical facade of the ZUŠ - Elementary School of Art Trenčín. This unique unusual experience revives the stereotype of the Friday evening.
